The museum MIC in Germany to represent Italy at the Eunique fair
Another international trip for the MIC – International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza, which was invited, together with the Westerwald Museum of Hohr-Grenzhausen, to organize an exhibition of Italian artists at the Eunique fair in Karlsruhe from 19th to 21st May, to represent Italy as Guest Country for this 9th edition.
Eunique is an international event focused on the world of applied arts, fashion and design, unique in its kind. More than 350 exhibitors will attend the fair, which will present to around 15,000 unique pieces and small series with the possibility of direct sales.
The organizers involved the Westerwald Museum in Hohr-Grenzhausen for their ceramic collection which, in turn, involved the MIC in the organization, with the aim of providing a focus on Italian ceramic art production through excellence.
Twenty artists / artisans were selected. The Westerwald Museum will bring works by Sara Dario, Enrico Stropparo, Antonella Cimatti, Bottega Vignoli and Cristina d’Alberto. The MIC of Faenza has selected works by Fiorenza Pancino, Elvira Keller, Andrea Salvatori, Serena Balbo, Mirco Denicolò, Martha Pachon, Luciano Laghi, Paolo Polloniato, Silvia Celeste Calcagno, Antonietta Mazzotti, Giorgio di Palma and Ana Hillar.
