Argillà Argentona: Fira internacional de ceràmica
The next edition of the international ceramic market-fair Argillà Argentona will be held in Argentona (Barcelona, Spain) on July 7th-8th-9th, 2017.
Argillà Argentona is twinned with Argillà Italia (Faenza) and Argilla France (Aubagne).
The countries represented in 2017 are: Spain, Catalonia, Portugal, Italy, France, Poland, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Russia, Morocco.
In this edition, the Guest Country will be Italy and the Invited City will be Faenza with a focus on Italian and Faenza’s ceramists and some dedicated events and exhibitions, including:
- Grand Tour of Classic Italian Ceramics (exhibition) – a trip to Italy through a selection of traditional ceramics chosen from the collection of of AiCC – Italian Association of Cities of Ceramics
- Fiorenza Pancino. The Food of the Soul (exhibition) – Solo exhibition of Fiorenza Pancino, ceramic artist from Faenza
- Càntirs decorated by artists of Faenza (exhibition) – exhibition of 12 càntirs, traditional ceramic jug of Argentona, decorated by artists and ceramists of Faenza, donated to the permanent collection of the Museu del Càntir
