Weihs Studio

Ernst-Wolfgang and Herta have long collaborated artistically, focusing on sculpture and the Raku technique. Active on the international exhibition scene since 1987 and teaching since 1995, the two artists explore clay through complementary approaches.

Drawing on his background in film and architectural model-making, Ernst-Wolfgang creates one-of-a-kind pieces with an earthy, textured quality, enhanced by glazes of his own formulation. Herta, in turn, pursues a creative process driven by imagination, pure experimentation, and an unconventional approach to raw materials.

The result is a collection of sculptural pieces in which the expressive power of Raku transforms each creation into a one-of-a-kind work of art.
