The Lands of the Tower

Le Terre della Torre is a small artisan workshop founded in 2014 in the hills of Val Tidone in the Piacenza Apennines, where clay is shaped on the potter’s wheel, in slabs, and into coils, and where various firing techniques are employed—both high-temperature (stoneware between 1250°C and 1300°C) and low-temperature firing (Raku, Obvara).
Simona Rogolino creates both functional ceramics—such as coffee and tea cups, glasses, plates, and tableware—and artistic ceramics.
