Livia Marasso
Torino - Italy
Livia Marasso’s work explores the potential of porcelain by developing the themes of “thread” and “fabric”: the thin white thread becomes the medium through which she creates porcelain home decor items, lamps, and jewelry.
Each creation arises from the integration of various techniques—slab, extrusion, coiling, wheel-throwing, free-form modeling, and slip casting—combined within a single creative process.
Firing takes place in an electric kiln at a temperature of 1280 °C.
