L’Atelier de Lise

All of Anne Lise Hojsan’s works are made of ceramic, hand-modeled, then glazed and fired using the Raku and Raku Nu techniques.

Her work falls into two main categories: on the one hand, figurative sculpture, such as her interpretation of the famous photograph of workers having lunch while sitting on a beam 260 meters above the streets of New York; on the other, creations inspired primarily by the atmosphere of the 1930s and 1940s, a theme she particularly favors.

She also creates commissioned works, exploring a variety of subjects and themes.
