Laetitia Scialla

Laetitia Scialla works primarily with high-temperature clays such as stoneware, porcelain, and paper porcelain.

Living between Tunisia and France, Letitia has spent the last three years exploring the modeling techniques and traditional firing methods practiced in northern Tunisia by the women of Sejnane. She creates forms by combining completely different clays and firing methods, playing with contrasts in materials, colors, and thicknesses. Nature, in all its diversity and fragility, is her primary source of inspiration.
