Ceramiche Monica Ortelli

Monica Ortelli uses both soft earthenware and Faenza clay for her bisque-fired pieces, which are made entirely by hand. She employs crystalline glazes and colored glazes—either contrasting or tone-on-tone—decorating the pieces with various materials and finishing them with gold applied in a third firing.

Semi-precious stones are also used in jewelry.
