Eugenio Michelini

Eugenio’s work focuses on the force of gravity, on how to use it to decorate his objects, and on the quality of the engobes that drip onto the plaster structure—applied with a syringe and, when appropriate, dripped with Parian engobes.

The result is a sort of ethereal, colorful landscape surrounding the object. Her work focuses on colors, their optical qualities, and the potential of the material once simple forms are enriched with engobes, glazes, and designs.
