Magic Pottery Wheel
Saturday, September 03, 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Sunday, September 04 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Thomas Benirschke connects participants to the roots of ceramics and pottery – earth, mud, handling, tools – and accompanies them in their design process – from their ‘own idea’ to a form in three dimensions.
The magic happens thus: Everybody creates his or her own designs, first in the form of an idea on paper, a sketch, a drawing or a model.
Employing 4 hands, these ideas will be thrown and shaped with clay.
On various archaic and historical ceramic circles children and adults, together with Thomas Benirschke, “four-handedly” cast their figures and vessels.
Art creations can be taken home.
