The Ceramicoscope is the instrument for viewing ceramics and fire.
With this brief assumption, the writing team set the basic coordinates for
address a collective work that aims to investigate the potential of a tool (the kiln for
ceramics) in its being an enclosed volume within which, for centuries, a transformation has been taking place

The idea came from a free group of artists and ceramicists, previously featured at Argillà 2016 and 2018 with Brick Kiln and Micado.
The performance, traceable to experimental wood-fired firings, was conceived in 2021 and tested on two occasions (one private, the other public), the evolution of which, much debated within the working group with new insights, now takes a monumental form that can be enjoyed by a wider audience.
