Albisola celebrates the fifteen ceramic styles that have followed one another over its history: from the end of the sixteenth century to Futurism, passing through the Liberty ‘taches noires’ and much, much more. A roundup on the styles in which, over the centuries, Albisola’s artists and craftsmen have decorated their ceramic works.

The works range from the Turkish Ceramics of Iznik to the Calligraphic, to the Antico Savona (blue white), to the Levantino. And, moreover, the ‘taches noires’ terracottas, the Boselli decoration, Birds and parsley, Figuretti and ruins (or ‘Valente’), the yellow and black ‘Maiolica povera’, the Liberty style, the ‘Mézzaro’ and the Art Déco, the Futurist Ceramics, up to contemporary design. Almost all the ceramic workshops of the two Albisola are present in the exhibition with their best production, to celebrate the art par excellence of the territory.
