Visit to the Goffredo Gaeta Museum and the Gaeta Art Workshop

A sculptor and ceramic artist who ranks among the leading figures on the contemporary art scene, Goffredo Gaeta has distinguished himself by working with a wide variety of materials. Throughout his extraordinary career, which began in the mid-1950s, in addition to his ceramic works, Maestro Gaeta has created entire series of large narrative stained-glass windows, marble sculptures, steel structures, glass works, and castings in bronze and precious metals.

After his passing, his daughters Claudia and Flavia continued the business in their father’s workshop and created a museum dedicated to him. The museum is described as “emotional” because it presents Goffredo Gaeta as a man as well as an artist.
