The game will take place at Quazar, a creative co-working space in the city’s historic centre, and will involve local residents and anyone else interested through a series of iterative workshops.
The game-based workshops are scheduled for Saturday 5th, from 10.00 to 13.00 and from 16.00 to 19.00.
Opening and Presentation of “Terr.òn”
terr.òn is a project designed to facilitate participatory architecture through a playful, hands-on approach. Conceived as a modular, analog modeling tool made of terracotta and raw earth, it employs earth as a creative medium for collectively envisioning new urban scenarios. For this edition, the project focuses on Faenza’s historic center and its relationship with the Lamone river — exploring how the river can relate to the city’s urban fabric and identity.
Together, the players will create the ideal and desired image of Faenza, reimagining the connection between its historic city center and the river that runs alongside it. The results of the sessions will be shared with the City of Faenza as a contribution to the ongoing discussions on the city’s urban planning. The day will be organized into four game rounds, divided between the morning and afternoon.
GAME DATA
- Players: 4–6 per round.
- Recommended age: 10+.
- Duration: 60–90 minutes (adjustable).
- Goal: To create the desired future landscape.
