Guided Tour of the “Nordic Table Design” Exhibition

The exhibition, curated by Fabia Masciello, presents the work of forty-five female designers, artists, and intellectuals from Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden, telling a previously untold story of design—one composed of many voices—against the backdrop of the struggle for equal rights.
The exhibition traces the work and working conditions of these women who, through a humanistic and distinctly feminine approach to design—combined with firsthand knowledge of domestic needs—brought about a “silent revolution” in the way meals were conceived and, more broadly, in the lives of 20th-century women.
