A guided tour to discover the treasures of East Asia.
The section displays approximately 230 artifacts dating from the 2nd century (works from the Han, Tang, Song, Ming, and Qing dynasties) to the present day, in a thematic narrative that spans dynasties, regions, and cultures. The tour also includes contemporary artworks inspired by
more traditional artistic practices.
The new exhibition, which opened in December 2025, is curated by Eline van den Berg, a researcher in Asian art and culture, in collaboration with Fiorella Rispoli and Roberto Ciarla.
