Domenico Baccarini and His Terracotta Works: Guided Tour

The Municipal Art Gallery is participating in the event by organizing a small but significant exhibition: Domenico Baccarini and His Terracotta Works.

The great artist from Faenza, a multi-talented genius, was one of the leading figures on the Italian cultural scene in the early 20th century. In the Pinacoteca, alongside his paintings, several of his masterpieces—normally not on public display—will be exhibited: terracotta works that address themes that are deeply relevant today.

Human psychology is carefully explored in *Pensiero*, a bust of an elegant young woman captured in a moment of meditation; family bonds reach heights of wonderful humanity in *Busto della madre* and in the relief *Interno familiare*, a masterpiece that captures a moment of domestic intimacy with extraordinary freshness.
