Gregor Fouland

During his training, Gregor met the artist and professor Gerlinde Geschwendtner and Professor Irmgard Schaumberger, who guided him in developing three-dimensional forms based on his two-dimensional paintings.

He sculpted figures out of clay and plaster that occupied the space and thus, through their freedom of movement, embodied the imagery of his paintings. Thanks to these works, clay became a fundamental material for his further artistic development.
