Valeria Tarroni of Céramiques de saison
Hyères, France
For Valeria Tarroni of Céramiques de saison, the art of the table and nature can come together in perfect harmony.
What sets her work apart is that she creates impressions of wild plants directly in the clay. She uses colored oxides and engobes and works almost exclusively with a transparent, satin-finish crystalline glaze, which gives her pieces a delicate appearance.
She seeks to achieve a delicate and poetic effect, characterized by lightness in the designs and the formal “balance” of the objects she creates. All of her creations are different from one another: each piece is unique.
