Mariagioia Maffucci – Gioielli contemporanei

In 2015, Mariagioia opened her own studio, where she creates jewelry inspired by art and nature, entirely by hand and using a combination of different techniques.

She works with porcelain using various types of clays and glazes—some of which she produces herself—including crystals, gold, and platinum for the third firing.

She personally oversees every stage of the jewelry-making process, from design to assembly, employing goldsmithing techniques such as soldering and lost-wax casting to achieve a harmonious final piece.
